Sampling and method for the determination of biological agents:
For the identification of the biological agents/hazards in the workplace, a special air sampling suction device is used, which is based on a system for the collection of airborne particles according to Anderson’s principle, which is universally accepted and is according to the standard ISO 14698-1 (Clean rooms and associated controlled environments –Bio-contamination control – Part 1: Central Principles and methods).
The device is based on the principle of air crash, which passes through a perforated plate on sterile petri dishes contain microbiological media. After sampling, and an incubation step is followed. The plates incubate in the incubator at a given temperature for a given period of time for each microbiological parameter.
